I live in Port Washington.  Some of you follow the news down in southeastern Wisconsin.  We have a major industry in our city, Simplicity Manufacturing.  A lot of you probably, maybe own a Simplicity lawn mower or Simplicity tractor.  Simplicity was founded in Port Washington in 1922; it’s been a great employer in the city ever since that time.  Got a bunch of great, family-supporting jobs in that factory – 350 of them as a matter of fact.  And every last one of them is going to go away in October of 2008.  Okay?  Because they’re going to move their production to other states.  I don’t blame Simplicity.  I don’t blame their corporate parent, Briggs and Stratton.  I don’t blame the city.  I say that is a reality of our global economy.  That is what they need to do to be competitive.
